Our mission at Cumberland River Homes is to provide a safe and happy home for our SCL (Supports for Community Living), Michelle P, & Aquired Brain Injury (ABI) clients and to offer them opportunities to live as independently as possible within their communities.
Cumberland River Homes services are designed to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving daily outcomes and life dreams by empowering their informed life choices and maintaining natural support networks.
The Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Waiver program provides intensive services and supports to adults with acquired brain injuries working to re-enter community life. Services are provided exclusively in community settings.
Supports for Community Living Waiver offers a variety of supports and services. These are based on the individual's goals, choices and priorities as identified through an individual support plan.
The Michelle P. Waiver is a home- and community-based waiver program of the Kentucky Medicaid program developed as an alternative to institutional care for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The waiver allows individuals to remain in their homes with services and supports.
